Assistance with Service-Learning Academic Courses
Through its network of partnering community-based organizations, SOURCE can assist faculty in setting up practical experiences for students.
Internships, short-term learning experiences, volunteer positions, Federal Work study placements, MPH Capstone projects, field placements and more can help enhance student learning of academic content, increase awareness and value of diversity, and civic responsibility.
SOURCE Can Help:
- Design service opportunities that align with course subject matter
- Match opportunities with community organizations in need
- Design student reflection strategies, including assessing student learning and applying that learning to course content
If you already have strong partnerships with community-based organizations for your course, please let SOURCE know.
