Service-Learning and MPH Practicum Course Designation Application
The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health has established two new course designations: 1) MPH practicum and 2) service-learning. Instructors of new and existing JHSPH courses can apply to receive either or both of these course designations. These course designations aim to enhance the information on and accessibility of these courses for students and faculty, as well as improve the accuracy of the number of courses that meet the standards for MPH practicum and service-learning.
Because a number of courses will qualify for both of these designations, we have combined the application and review process. At the end of this process, depending on which designations you have applied for, you will receive either a 1) MPH Practicum designation, 2) Service-Learning designation, or 3) Service-Learning/MPH Practicum dual designation. Applications will be reviewed by a committee of faculty from the The Office of Public Health Practice and Training and SOURCE.
If you would like to apply for a course designation, please complete this online application form.
