JHU Resources

  • University Mental Health Services
  • JHU Student Wellness: Student wellness resources and news. Resources range from physical and mental wellness topics to financial and professional.
  • Behavioral Health Crisis Support Team (BHCST): Can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 410-516-WELL (9355). 
  • Johns Hopkins University Health Services (UHS): Serves students, post-doctoral fellows, house staff and other trainees across the School of Medicine, Bloomberg School of Public Health, School of Nursing, and the Berman Institute.
  • JHU Chaplain: Available to have phone conversations with JHU affiliates. Can be reached via email.
  • Chat with a Counselor: An online drop-in mental health service that offers informal, confidential, one-on-one visits for students to meet with a Mental Health Services staff member.
  • Johns Hopkins Employee Assistance Program (JHEAP): JHU employees and their household family members have free 24/7 access to confidential counseling and referral services for help with stress at work or at home, emotional distress, a difficult life transition, or other challenges. You can reach JHEAP 24/7, 365 days a year, by phone at 888-978-1262.
  • Student Health Benefits and Insurance: Information on health insurance available to Bloomberg School of Public Health students.
  • Sexual assault response and prevention resources: Clear, accessible, and consolidated information on sexual assault policies and available services and support.
  • Confidential Resources: University and Off Campus (non-University) confidential resources. None of these resources would require any involvement by the Office of Institutional Equity (“OIE”), but could provide help and support.
  • Calm App: Use your JHU email to access all premium features for mindfulness, sleep and guided meditation exercises.
