Baltimore Public Health Practice Opportunities Info Session for Students
Join JHU SOURCE, the community engagement and service-learning center, for an online info session about local public health practice opportunities. We will be covering our flagship service-learning course, the Baltimore Community Practicum (BCP) and how to apply.
In 2025-2026, this internship-based course offers a mix of In-Person or Hybrid public health practice opportunities in partnership with Baltimore community-based organizations. BCP is a for-credit course offering real-world public health practice experiences for BSPH students across all degree programs! All applicants must be able to collaborate with organizations during Baltimore business hours.
*All projects completely meet the MPH practicum requirement, and BCP is a required course for the Certificate in Community-Based Public Health.
Course runs throughout 2nd and 3rd terms (both terms required), and includes a weekly seminar (with a mix of synchronous and asynchronous sessions).
