Are you looking for a way to make meaningful change in your community while completing your studies? Consider applying to be a SOURCE Service Scholar in 2025-2026!

Join our Online SSS Info Session via Zoom on May 28 to learn more!

About the Program: SOURCE Service Scholars (SSS) presents a unique opportunity for students to make an impact by completing 125 hours of community-based practice at a Baltimore community-based organization (CBO) that is a SOURCE partner while receiving a $1,875 stipend. Projects have already been identified by community partners and aim to address urgent priorities for each participating organization.

These 125 hours of community-based public health practice can potentially count toward practicum requirements for certain degree programs. Scholars will receive training and guidance from SOURCE staff covering service-learning theories and practices; project management; volunteer recruitment and management; and delivering/reporting on outcomes.
