Autism and Developmental Disabilities
The Wendy Klag Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities promotes research and education regarding the origins, detection, measurement and prevention of conditions that affect behavioral, socioemotional and/or cognitive development, as well as evaluation of services and policies that support optimal development of affected children and their families. The center unifies and expands research and education efforts at Bloomberg School focused on autism and developmental disabilities.
ECHO Baby Teeth Project
Johns Hopkins School of Public Health is one of 13 sites involved in the Autism Spectrum Disorder Enriched Risk Cohort (ASD-ER) study that is part of the larger NIH Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) project. The ASD-ER project collects a unique biosample -- children's baby teeth -- to explore what substances a child was exposed to while in the womb.

seeks to identify factors that relate to the risk and progression of neurodevelopment disorders.
