About the Organization

Dedicated to providing safe and supportive housing in an environment conducive to recovery, transition, and restoration for women recovering from addictions; facilitates education, empowerment, enlightenment, and healing for the women it serves.

Involvement Opportunities

  • Develop or assist at workshops for women (topics of addiction, disease model, relapse, prevention, wellness/nutrition and more)
  • Help coordinate and identify the steps to make a gated alleyway and green-space for kids to play in East Baltimore
  • Research & Development
  • Data collection
  • Health Facilitator - Facilitate a group on HIV/HEPC/TB/ and STDs; semi annually
  • Provide information to facilitate risk-free behavior and give the assessment surveys
  • Will match student expertise/passion to their needs 

Volunteer Requirements

  • Complete online volunteer application
  • Take Orientation training
  • Pass Orientation Quiz

Note – If working directly with the women, TB Test and Background check required

Days of the Week for Student Volunteers

  • Monday – Friday
  • Weekends
  • Special Event Hours
