Baltimore Green Space is Baltimore’s environmental land trust. We promote vibrant neighborhoods and a healthy environment through land preservation, research, and community advocacy.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Research and Proposal Writing (literature review of green spaces and their effects on public health, literature review regarding how best to measure the impacts of green spaces on community cohesion and community health)
- Data Analysis on Green Spaces in the Urban Environment (data entry, data research, mapping)
- Program Evaluation Research & Recommendations (identifying best practices and steps to implement)
- One-time or on-going green space (park, garden, forest) clean up and support (maintenance, gardening)
- Community Organizing and Advocacy (community outreach and education about Baltimore Green Space)
