About the Organization

To provide a safe place and resource in the community to promote recovery and healing from the loss of a loved one; addressing grief as a public health preventive resource.

Involvement Opportunities

Consider volunteering at Roberta’s House. There are many ways to get involved. Your gifts and talent can help us with office work, mailing, public relations, graphics, art, website, and fundraising. We also have opportunities to volunteer in a group as a facilitator.  We continually recruit volunteers to facilitate our peer support groups for children, teens and adults.  Being present and listening with your heart to a child who has lost someone they love is a wonderful gift to the community.  Join our team of wonderful volunteer facilitators who give their time, energy and caring to help create a safe place where grieving children, teens, and families can come together. A 26-hour training is required. For more information about training to become a group facilitator contact Kelli Tucker, ktucker@robertashouse.org.

All volunteers will be subject to a background check at the expense of Roberta’s House.
