Welcoming our new Assistant Director of Academic Service-Learning
On September 1st, SOURCE welcomed its inaugural Assistant Director of Academic Service-Learning, Keilah Jacques. Keilah comes to SOURCE with immense experience in community organizing, service-learning, and in managing community partnerships. Most recently Keilah was the Program Director at the Health and Wellness Alliance for Children where she worked with community stakeholders and policy initiatives to direct a team working towards the organization’s mission of improving the overall health and well-being of children in the Dallas area.
Keilah has a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Connecticut, and is excited to continue exploring her new home in Baltimore, specifically by way of restaurants and good food. We are thrilled to have Keilah join the team and lead our efforts towards developing an intentional approach to social justice that can be incorporated into all SOURCE programming and events. Welcome to the team Keilah!
